Interested in volunteering at Community Advocates? If you are 18 or older, learn more about our volunteer opportunities at this brief orientation.

Opportunities range from volunteering a few hours at one of the agency’s special events to a weekly commitment answering calls on the Milwaukee Women's Center (MWC) Crisis Line, spending time with the children at our MWC Emergency Shelter, or providing administrative support to the agency.

All volunteer applicants will be asked to do the following:

• Attend a general agency orientation
• Complete an application and sign a release of information form
• Provide two non-related references
• Complete an interview with the Manager of Volunteer Services

Most positions provide on-the-job training to equip volunteers with the skills and information necessary to perform specific assignments.
